Welcome to Team Hapua. We have had a fantastic week getting know all the wonderful children in our team this year.
This week the children have spent a few days in their homeroom class getting to know their class.
In Maths this week, the children have been learning all about bar graphs. Check out our photos below showing all the different ways our children come to school. They have also been learning how to classify and group objects or information.
In Reading this week the children have been learning the routines and their reading groups. They have been busy reading their browsing books and completing independent activities from a Big Book. Instructional Reading will begin next week.
We have enjoyed reading all about the children's holiday adventures during writing.
