A Game to Play to Start the Day

I'm always encouraged to see Room 10 students playing together, sharing, turn taking and problem solving. They're loving the newly introduced 'Top Trumps' game which also helps them learn Place Value.

Cricket Awareness at Isleworth

The Christchurch Junior Cricket Association took Team Hapua out to develop a love of cricket.

Kapa Haka and Pasifika Group - Upcoming Performances

Please put the following dates in your diaries. Hereora Cultural Festival: Mon/Tues 11-12th September Junior and Senior Kapa Haka and Pasifika Groups, 6pm at the Aurora Centre.  Tūhono Kapa Haka Competition: Fri 22nd September Senior Kapa Haka Performance Group, 4pm at Hillview Christian School. Tickets and performance details for the Hereora Festival will come home next Thursday, and the following Thursday for Tūhono. Orchards in Schools Programme

Today the Nature Ninjas worked with Mary and Richard from the Horticultural Society to plant the trees they donated to our school. We have plum, pear, plum cot and apple trees. We also have some feijoa shrubs to plant. We look forward to having the whole school on board learning and working in the orchard. Big mihi to the staff and children who helped make this happen.

Cultural Festival

Isleworth School are performing on Thursday, 17 August 12:30-2:30. A notice will be sent home with performing students on Friday 15/6, please look out for it. The office will be taking ticket orders up until Friday 30/6.
