Hi Everyone,

IMAGINE Youth Theatre is producing ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS at Elmwood Auditorium for Kidsfest.

For the audition, prepare a fairly short speech, song or dance that shows your personality and joy of performing.

7 - 10 year olds 4 - 5pm

11 - 16 year olds 5 - 6 pm.

If the time doesn't suit we can accommodate you at a different time.

SUNDAY 13 MAY at St Ninians Hall, 9 Puriri St, Riccarton.

We rehearse Saturday 10 - 3 and Sunday 4 - 6 from May 19th - July 1st, apart from Queen's Birthday weekend where we rehearse only Monday 10 - 3. Then we pack in to Elmwood Theatre July 7 - 9 and perform 11 am and 1 pm every day from July 10 - 21 except Sunday July 15. Young people choose to be in Troupe A (July 10 - 12) Troupe B (July 13, 14, 16, 17) or Troupe C (July 18 - 21), to fit in with family holiday plans.

Rehearsals are action-packed. All performers are involved in singing and dancing and all have cameo parts as our plays are written to give young performers experience and opportunity to shine. You need to get to most rehearsals but we can be a little flexible to accommodate existing commitments.
