This term we've been learning how to write narratives. We started with reading other author's narratives, then looked at the required structure for a narrative, we played games and finally we co-wrote a narrative with a friend. All of this has helped to build a love for narrative writing... so much so that this student pictured went home and re-wrote his narrative from school (thanks Mum for helping him to do that)!
To encourage our student's we have made multiple books filled with their published narratives for ALL to enjoy! We even had the privileged of taking one of these books to Mrs Shearer who made the stories come alive as she read them back to the student's.
